When you connect your Samsung TV to an external source, such as your computer, the image is usually adjusted automatically. This means that the image is centered and resized to fit the screen. If the picture is not centered by default, you can adjust the horizontal and vertical alignment manually. Smaller TVs, like the Samsung LN32D403 32-inch TV, sometimes require you to center the picture manually.

Steps

  1. 1
Press the "Source" button and select the source. If your TV is connected to a computer, you must select PC mode.
  2. 2
Press the "Menu" button to open the main menu on your Samsung TV.
  3. 3
Press the "Up" or "Down" arrow buttons to select "Picture" and press the "Enter" button.
  4. 4
Select the "Screen" item, press "Enter," select "Position" and then press "Enter" again.
  5. 5
Press the "Up" or "Down" arrow buttons to adjust the vertical position (V-Position) until you center the picture.
  6. 6
Press the "Left" or "Right" arrow buttons to adjust the horizontal position (H-Position) until you center the picture.
  7. 7
Press "Enter" to save the changes and then press the "Exit" button to exit the menu.
