The Apple iPod brand of personal media devices is widely used for their music and video entertainment capabilities. On several models, calendar events can be added and viewed. The iPod Classic, introduced in 2001, allows users to view a basic calendar on its small display. The iPod Touch also has a calendar capability that is more user friendly. Released in 2007, the iPod Touch features a full color touchscreen display.     Plug the iPod's sync connection cord into the bottom of the device. Insert the USB cable into an available port on the computer.

    Open the Apple iTunes software program, which is included with the iPod. Select "iPod Classic" from the list of sources. Press the "Contacts" tab.
